In this lesson we were talking about school magazines, what you find in them and the purpose of them.
What you would find in a school magazine:
- Pictures
- Recent news about school - whats going on
- Recent events (sports day/arts evening)
- Competitions within school
- Students work
- Students and staff included - featured writing
Purpose of school magazines:
- It will benefit students - helping them to read
- Extra curricular
- It will inform parents, students and teachers
- A way to communicate with everyone in the school and parents
- Helping students understand the school
- It gives students a voice
- Bringing staff and students together
- Allows students to show talents
